Convection Update: DEN

AT 1645 UTC the Cloud Top Cooling (CTC) algorithm showed rapid development of convective cells within the forecasted box (recall, the WRF ABI imagery indicated convective initiation at 1800 UTC). These intense cooling rates are suggesting convective development very near Denver Center, and we are anticipating some traffic constraints as these cells continue to initiate.
