DFW Area CTC - DFW Western Gates Impact

The UW-CIMSS Cloud-top Cooling product has started to ignite to the west of the Dallas-Ft. Worth Area (Fig. 2).  Storms should continue to develop and build to the south and southwest along the cumulus field where strong instability was forecast by NearCasting on the eastern side of the MCV.  Our desk will continue to monitor the impact to air traffic to and from DFW.
